French Quarter Candles - Started in 2000 in the Historic French Market of New Orleans, French Quarter Candles are 100% soy wax with no artificial additives or chemicals.  The wicks are cotton bleached with no metal inserts.  The fragrances are a combination of essential oils, fragrance oils, and Soya oils.  The candles have no coloring added to the wax, because most color will distort the scent, if the oils are of high quality.  Plus, the colors have stabilizers in them that will induce soot.  FQ Candles burn virtually soot free.  And because they are a vegetable wax, they reduce carbon dioxide by 90% when they burn over a paraffin candle.                                                                                                         Our favorite:  Magnolia - an exclusive fragrance made for Make Me Up!!
